RUTH SANGER HONOURED & PRE-TRANSFUSION GUIDELINES LAUNCHED IN BICENTENARY YEAR

The Ruth Sanger Oration is conceived; she agrees to this recognition but declines ASBT’s invitation to deliver the first oration in 1990. ASBT Guidelines for Cross Matching & Antibody Screening are finally signed off for printing & widespread distribution.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
