NATIONAL  RECOGNITION AND IMPACT

A Working Party (with experts from various Colleges) charged with developing guidelines on the use of blood & blood products produces an early draft; this will be first in a series of essential up-to-date best practice ASBT guidelines. Expertise of ASBT members is acknowledged nationally by an invitation to contribute advice to the National Biological Standards Laboratory Sub-Committee on Blood & Blood Products.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
