With ISBT, the Society continues to support Asia Pacific neighbours with ASM travel grants to transfusionists from Indonesia, PNG & the Solomon Islands. An inaugural ANZSBT Young (< 35 years) Investigator Award is offered for ASM abstracts. The Clinical Practice Committee focusses on autologous donation, CMV seronegative components & MSBOS.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
