Council develops a draft strategic plan to define ASBT’s identity, purpose & future direction. The ASBT Research Fund gains momentum with appointment of a Research & Executive Committee. An Education Subcommittee is agreed. As information technologies are transformed by innovation , major improvements are made to our website & on-line access. Corporate memory is captured in a handbook to assist organisation of future ASMs. The Society becomes a corporate member of ISBT.
