NEW GUIDELINES & REVENUE SHARING FORMULA

A working committee to draft ASBT Guidelines for Cross matching & Antibody Screening, constituted from across Australia begins its work. Tough negotiations with HSA begin on a formula for sharing revenue arising from past & future joint scientific meetings. Still quite a small Society, the Council renews efforts to recruit more members including scientists & nurses.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
