‘Provision & communication of independent expertise in transfusion medicine’, is our new vision articulated with input from Council, Chairs of Standing Committees & Chair of ANZ Transfusion Professionals group. New priorities include: recruiting younger practitioners, succession planning for project longevity, a stronger Society & ASM profile, expanded funding, expert financial planning with wise oversight & creation of strategically focussed subcommittees. The ASM Council meeting hosts the General Manager of the NBA for collegial discussions about on-going cooperation.
