FIRST ‘ON-LINE’ MEETING

The AGM approves the Society’s Incorporation & members are polled about future conjoint ASBT/HSA/RCPA meetings. Teleconferencing for Council meetings finally becomes normal practice. This ‘on-line’ innovation, with its telephonic cost of $121.29/meeting (recorded in council minutes), tentatively paves the way for remote electronic meetings in the 21st Century.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
