ASBT INCORPORATION AFTER 20 YEARS - ANZSBT History Project

The 1983 membership poll supports continuance of conjoint ASMs with HSA. A permanent ASBT Secretariat is first considered. Legal advice with strong Council input culminates in ASBT Inc. filed in the ACT on 27 November 1984, with an appropriately modified Constitution. This is achieved 20 years after ASBT’s creation.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
