1^st publication demonstrating transfusion transmission of West Nile Virus in the USA, leads to international focus on risk of arbovirus transmission.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) aims to engage with stakeholders in all areas of transfusion through communication, representation and advocacy.
